Metheringham

Drws Nesaf is located in the small village of Metheringham, with a population of 3,500. On the High Street, you'll find a welcoming cafe, a Co‑op, a traditional butcher, and four pubs—the Star & Garter, White Hart Inn, Lincolnshire Poacher, and Londesborough Arms—for local food and drinks. There is also an excellent Indian restaurant, Maharaaj; three fish and chip shops, Kelly's Catch, Barrier Reef and Sab's Plaice; China House Chinese takeaway; and Turgay's Kebab and Pizza House. 

Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre is a small nearby museum, dedicated to the men and women who served in and supported 106 Squadron, Royal Air Force Bomber Command from 1943 until the end of the Second World War. The museum is the home of Dakota KG651, a veteran transport aircraft that saw service during the War.


Lincoln
